Company Profile

Established in 2002, The Pixel Zoo is a specialist we and print design agency offering a broad range of design services in both traditional and new media as well as packaged web products to support these design services.  

Owned and managed by Laura Glover and Cheral Kennedy respectfully, The Pixel Zoo team brings a unique blend of skills to the table. Laura Glover has a degree in Information Design from the University of Pretoria, and over 8 years industry experience. Cheral has the creativity, business experience and know-how to keep the business operating smoothly. This results in a skill set that is creative but that also has a high level of technical competency, producing creative output that is focussed and effective as our creative team have a thorough understanding of the technical implementation of both online media and print production. 

With offices in Johannesburg and with the help of our technological infrastructure, The Pixel Zoo is able to service clients nationally and internationally.  

We believe that our ethos of ethical business is key to our ongoing success – we strive to provide our clients value-for-money solutions that work for them, and this requires that we take a very personal approach with our clients. The fact that we remain a fairly small agency facilitates this, and we are able to establish relationships with each and every one of our clients, giving them the personal attention they deserve. The fact that 90% of our work comes from referrals is testament to this fact.

Although we take our creative output seriously and truly believe that design can be a powerful problem solving communications medium, we are not an agency that puts our agenda before that of our clients – at present in the local design industry the emphasis is often on 'winning awards', and many a client has been left wondering why their 'award winning' advertisement has in fact made no difference to their bottom line. We value our clients and strive to build long term relationships based on a foundation of integrity, transparency and trust, delivering services that make a tangible contribution to their objectives.
